We will be exhibiting in the Arte Paiz Biennial in Guatemala till the end of July.
On this occasion, the Biennial is expanding into sound art and proposes a dialog with literature, at the same time highlighting the educational and formative function of the biennial model. Along those lines, there will be workshops and work groups for artists and art students, and a program is being devised for guided tours and art-appreciation workshops for the general public. The Paiz Biennial’s activities will also include a cycle of debates and discussions, as well as street actions by Caja Lúdica and contemporary musical expressions.
For the first time in its history, the Paiz Biennial will take place in several locations throughout Zona 1, Guatemala City’s historic downtown, articulating a pedestrian circuit that takes advantage of the recent conversion of the city’s 6th Avenue to walking traffic.
Thanks to Recetas urbanas for droping us some beautiful pictures of the event. We really enjoy checking out how courious visitants were about the book!
